How to Apply

Those interesting our graduate program should first submit an online inquiry.  This will put you in contact with our program coordinator and she will send you additionalinformation.

Those that are ready to apply may do so throught the Graduate School's online application system.

Most applicants will have majored in chemistry, biology, pharmacy or a related field, and have the following courses or equivalents: cell and molecular biology; organic chemistry; physical chemistry; quantitative analysis; and calculus.

Students are also expected to have completed two semesters of advanced undergraduate or graduate level biochemistry and one semester of advanced undergraduate or graduate level physiology.

Many of our applicants have minimum GPA of 3.0, a combined GRE score (verbal & quantitative of 1200 or greater in the current scoring system). With that said, we consider the "whole applicant" in that research experience, industry experience and success in previous course work are also a factor in our assessment of applicants.

Note:  International applicants must have minimum TOEFL score of 600.
